Orange-Cinnamon Bourbon

This is a warm, inviting cocktail that combines the smooth richness of bourbon with the bright, zesty flavor of orange and the sweet, spicy kick of cinnamon. This infusion is great on the rocks or as the base bourbon in an Old Fashioned or Manhattan.

Ingredients

1/3 cup of Bourbon or Rye
1 Cinnamon Stick
2 Oranges

Preparation

1.

Make sure the bourbon is at least at room temperature. Wash and dry the cinnamon sticks and oranges.

Zest the oranges, either fine or in strips, being careful to remove any pith.

3.

Put the orange zest and cinnamon into a 1-pint CreamRight Whipped Cream Dispenser, then the bourbon into the dispenser.

4.

Seal the dispenser, charge it with 1 Ultra Purewhip N2O charger, and swirl for 20 to 30 seconds to mix the ingredients well. Let it sit for 1 minute longer to rest. Place a towel over the top of the siphon and slowly vent out the gas.

5.

Strain the orange-cinnamon bourbon and let sit for at least another 5 minutes before using.
